Jeanne M. Doperak, DO

As a native of western Pennsylvania, Dr. Doperak was happy to join the UPMC Sports Medicine Team. After finishing her undergraduate training at Allegheny College and medical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed a family medicine residency at Latrobe Hospital. Following residency, she was the UPMC Shadyside Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow from 2005-2006.

Today, Dr. Doperak serves as the head PCSM physician for all University of Pittsburgh Olympic sports and has a vested interest in their mental health program for athletes and serves on the Mental Health Task Force for University Athletics.  Dr. Doperak also is the head team physician for St. Vincent College, an assistant team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers and consults with many local high schools.
