Dr. Teiichi Takedai, director of the Japanese Community Outreach Project, was awarded a grant from UPMC Shadyside Hospital Foundation. The purpose of this grant is to improve health care literacy and accessibility to the health care system for the Japanese population in Pittsburgh. This is the 10th year for the grant to be renewed.
