Dr. Tiffany Yang is a pediatrician, board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2019. She hails from Columbus, Ohio, where she earned her BS in biology from The Ohio State University. After graduation, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend medical school at Vanderbilt University, where she developed her passion for pediatrics and medical education. She completed her pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2019.
Since then, she has been practicing as a physician at Children’s Express Care, based primarily in West Mifflin. In addition, she is a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh’s Institute for Clinical Research Education where she is studying medical education. She joined Shadyside Family Medicine in 2021 as the director of pediatric education.
Dr. Yang’s clinical interests include pediatric acute care and telemedicine. Her academic interests include feedback, simulation, and teaching residents and medical students, best practices in telemedicine. She is the co-founder and co-editor of PediaLITE, a monthly web-based newsletter about current pediatric clinical research.
Dr. Yang has a husband, Tom, and a dog, Lucille. Outside the clinic, Dr. Yang enjoys traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, and exploring Pittsburgh’s restaurants and breweries.
