Today we were excited to welcome back Kento Sonoda, MD, AAHIVS, (Class of 2021) as a guest speaker at our annual UPMC Family Medicine Grand Rounds Teleconference. The title of his topic, “How to Address the Stigma of Addiction.” During residency, Dr. Sonoda trained in our HIV Track and had an impressive number of accomplishments. After graduation, he completed a fellowship in Addiction Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Sonoda is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
