The first annual UPMC Family Medicine Scholarship Day seeks to provide a venue for high-quality UPMC Family Medicine projects, as well as a format to share and disseminate scholarly ideas and activity.
Program Objectives:
- Showcase the unique and outstanding scholarly projects being done across the UPMC Family Medicine programs.
- Increase awareness of educational and patient-based research being done across the field of family medicine.
- Broaden medical students’ perspective of the scope of family medicine.
- Promote collaboration and unity among the UPMC Family Medicine programs.
- Enhance the quality and quantity of scholarly activity being done by the UPMC Family Medicine programs.
- Allow residents and faculty to more easily meet scholarly activity requirements.
