Dr. Tiffany Yang is a pediatrician, board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2019. She hails from Columbus, Ohio, where she earned her BS in biology from The Ohio State University. After graduation, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend medical school at Vanderbilt University, where she developed her passion for pediatrics and medical education. She completed her pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2019 and earned a Master of Science in medical education from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023.
She has been working with Shadyside Family Medicine Residency Program since 2021 as the Director of Pediatric Education. As of 2023, she serves as the Director of Pediatric Education within the UPMC Department of Family Medicine. Clinically, she works as a general pediatrics hospitalist at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her interests include feedback in simulation and pediatric education for family medicine trainees.
Dr. Yang has a husband, Tom, and a dog, Lucille. Outside the clinic, Dr. Yang enjoys traveling, reading, and crossword puzzles.
